Casey Lantz NAMB Summer Missionary

Coming to California this summer through NAMB was a very last minute decision, but one that will have a long lasting impact on me. God has taught me so much about His character as well as my own. At CCBC I have been able to see how the church works from the inside out and been a part of its ministries. Many of these have involved working with the youth. It has been so encouraging to see their eagerness to learn and grow in our LORD. I have also loved working with the kids this summer through VBS, helping at Celebrate Recovery, and even leading Sunday School a few times. I know God has a wonderful plan for each of their lives. They are so precious.

God has allowed me to share this experience with Dedie, Ethan and Chris. I don’t know what I would have done without them. We have had so much fun and been through so much together. I’m so glad for my time with them and everyone else here.

I can never forget the beautiful people I met in Copper or the way they touched my heart. The church has encouraged me so much with how much they care for each other and how willing they are to help with everything from setting up the church for Sunday mornings and running all the ministries of the church, to helping each other get through the day to day like getting run-away boats back on trailers and helping people move into new homes. They truly do love each other and I am so thankful that I will always have a family in California.

God has used this time to show me strengths and weaknesses that will help me to see His plan for using me after college.

I will always cherish the summer I spent in Copperopolis.

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

~ Isaiah 41:10

I love yall!
