What will you find at CCBC?
A church family that loves Jesus and wants people to know His amazing love, forgiveness, and grace! Like most families, ours is very diverse in its make-up. We are thankful that God has put us together from so many different backgrounds and denominations unified in our faith in Jesus Christ the Risen Lord!
What kind of ministries do you have?
Our ministries are outward focused to reach the community of Copperopolis and surrounding area. We want to reach every generation. Our men’s and women’s Bible studies, midweek children’s outreach Copper Kids’ Club, and our youth ministry the EDGE are just a few ways we are able serve. We also have opportunity for service through our local Food Pantry, Prison Ministry, and Celebrate Recovery. We acknowledge that most ministries happen outside the walls of our Sunday morning Worship Celebration and we want to offer as many opportunities to be a light to our families, neighbors and communities as we can be.
What kind of worship will I find at CCBC?
We have a blend of contemporary and traditional. Psalm 98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. That is what we do every Sunday!
What style of teaching are the messages?
The Word of God is our life manual and because it is our life manual we study it one chapter at a time. Currently we are studying Paul’s letters to the Corinthians.
What is the atmosphere at your worship celebration?
Come as you are! Dress up or dress down. We believe God cares more about the condition of your heart than what you wear to church.
